Parrot Secrets: this eBook has saved more parrots than you can possibly imagine. This is a must for parrot owners.
Blue Bonnet parrots, sporadically dispersed about the Australian southeastern and southern interior, socially gather in groups up to 30 birds. They permanently mate using a courtship ritual of tail feathers fanning and shaking, crown feathers raising and head bobbing. They nest in low-lying tree openings lined with wood substances and feed on seeds of native grasses and herbaceous plants, flower and fruit nectar. The female incubates the eggs; the male assists in rearing hatchlings.
